Rob advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, complex business transactions, corporate governance, and contract negotiations. He works closely with investors, business owners, and entrepreneurs to structure, negotiate, and close M&A transactions. His practice also includes advising private equity sponsors, general partners, and limited partners on leveraged buyouts, independent sponsor transactions, roll-up strategies, and capital investments.

Beyond transactional matters, Rob serves as ongoing counsel to business owners on critical operational and strategic issues. His experience includes corporate governance and board advisory work, entity formation, commercial contracting, shareholder arrangements, private financing transactions, intellectual property and product licensing, executive and employee incentive plans, consultant and independent contractor agreements, strategic asset structuring, SaaS agreements, and privacy compliance policies and disclosures.

He earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law and received his Bachelor of Arts from Texas Christian University. He is actively engaged in the legal community, serving as an Adjunct Faculty Member at SMU’s law school and as a committee chair for several Dallas Association of Young Lawyers committees.

He is also committed to community service through his work with the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Dallas, where he mentors students and supports their preparation for college and professional careers.
